How to get to Lake Marunvim in Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy offers a great map to explore, but how do you get to Lake Marunvim? There are many different types of locations to explore and explore. Some places have enemy camps, some have puzzles to solve. As you continue to unlock new areas and discover the Fireplace Flame, you will eventually want to move to the south side of the map. How to get to Lake Marunvim in Hogwarts Legacy (explained)
There is a Thestral Lair in Lake Marunvim, which is a flying beast that can be mounted on. So getting there is rewarding along with many other treasures you can find. It is located in the very south of the map and you have to walk a long way to get there. There are some basic requirements that you need before you try to go there.
- Your character must be at least level 16.
- Your character must have a flying broom.
To get to Lake Marunvim, you will have to go through a narrow passage. This bottleneck can be seen on the world map. It’s through a dungeon called Tomb of Betrayal. The entrance to this area is at the bottom, at the lowest point that you can reach with the Flying Broom. So mark the Flame of the Tomb of Betrayal and fly there.
This cave-dungeon is home to many goblins and other dangers that you will have to fight. It is impossible to fly over it and jump over it. The best tactic would be to use a disappointment spell. Use this to take out as many goblins as you can with Petrificus Totalus.
Once you pass them, you will have to face the goblin boss known as Ogbert the Strange. Defeat him and all the other goblins, then exit the cave to go through the dungeon.
After that, you can simply mark the chimney flame of Lake Marunvim and fly there at your own pace. Be aware that there are enemies in this area, but they can be avoided, unlike cave goblins.
