How To: These are the only differences between the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max
If you want to buy a new iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max, which model should you choose? How is the iPhone 14 Pro different from the 14 Pro Max? To figure out.
Like the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models, the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models are identical except for a few notable differences. In general, it all comes down to what size you are comfortable with and how much you are willing to spend. This is different from what Apple did with the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, which had several significant differences, such as the telephoto lens and camera stabilization.
Display size
When you measure them as a standard rectangle, the iPhone 14 Pro’s screen measures 6.1 inches, compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s 6.7 inches. These are the same screen sizes as the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, and even the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. Both new models feature always-on Super Retina XDR full-screen OLED displays with ProMotion technology.

Screen resolution
Speaking of the display, the iPhone 14 Pro’s screen resolution is 2556 by 1179 pixels, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a slightly higher resolution of 2796 by 1290 pixels. Both have a density of 460 ppi (pixels per inch).

body size
Given the difference in screen sizes between the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, it’s obvious that their dimensions and weight won’t be the same. While they are both 0.31 inches deep, the iPhone 14 Pro is 5.81 inches tall and 2.81 inches wide with a weight of 7.27 ounces, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max is 6.33 inches tall and 3 inches wide. 05 inches at 8.47 ounces.

Battery
Large display with higher resolution requires more battery power. The iPhone 14 Pro has a smaller battery than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but the larger battery in the latter is powerful enough to outperform the former in all areas. The 14 Pro only delivers up to 23 hours of video playback and 20 hours of video streaming compared to the 29 and 25 hours of the 14 Pro Max. Audio playback has an even bigger gap: 75 hours versus 95 hours.

Price
The last difference between the two iPhone 14 models is the price. The iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 (128GB) and goes up to $1,499 (1TB), while the 14 Pro Max starts at $1,099 (128GB) and goes up to $1,599 (1TB).
The cost of AppleCare+ and AppleCare+ with theft and loss is the same for all versions. AppleCare+ costs $199 for two years, or $9.99 per month, while the Theft and Loss plan is $269 for two years, or $13.49 per month.
