How to fix Diablo 3 error code 24004? (General T16 games)

Many Diablo 3 players are getting error code 24004 in the game and need to be fixed. This happens to T16 players who are trying to join public games. And this mistake prevents them from taking part in rewards, great rifts and much more. So here’s what happens when you get error 24004 and if you can fix it.

How to fix Diablo 3 error code 24004?

There is currently no known fix for Code 24004 error for Diablo 3. You can check the master thread on the Blizzard forums where they acknowledged the issue. Blizzard’s response on Twitter is the same. According to the support response, the developers are “investigating the root cause”. But the problem is that this bug has been around for a month now and it doesn’t seem to be fixed.

This issue only exists on T16, and the worst part is that none of the public lobbies will work for it. Thus, you cannot make breaks, bounties, or big breaks. But many players claim that it was possible to lower the Torrent level and play in public lobbies. So the closest thing to solving this bug right now is to lower the difficulty and play on T15.

Alternatively, you can try general fixes like restarting the game, scanning and verifying your files, or even completely reinstalling the game. But it’s unlikely that it will work.

So the only way to solve this problem once and for all is when the developers release some kind of patch for it. Once it’s out, update your game and then try to play it and you shouldn’t get error code 24004 in Diablo 3.
