How to Change Calendar Color on iPhone, iPad and Mac

The Calendar app on Apple devices has several useful features, such as sharing your calendar with other users, creating and editing events, sending or replying to invitations, and more. My favorite feature among them is the ability to color calendars.

If you like to keep things organized and have been looking for a way to do the same in the Calendar app, you’ve come to the right place. This guide will walk you through all the steps to change calendar colors on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

How does color coding calendar events help?

There are several published articles on how color helps improve memory and focus. A quick internet search will tell you the same thing. And from personal experience, it is accurate and helps improve memory performance.

Even leaving aside the subject of attention and memory, if you assign a color to each recurring event in your calendar, it will stand out from the rest and help identify it at an early stage when searching.

For example, if you’ve color-coded each event and are looking for family and friends birthdays in December, a quick glance at the calendar and the event you’re looking for still applies. Why? Because you remember the color assigned to it and can identify it more easily.

For all you wonder fans, think of it as Daredevil’s supernatural powers.
