How to Change Field Settings in MLB The Show 23
MLB The Show 23 offers a wide variety of game settings. Players can customize how they can manage their serve, shot and pitch in the game. When you start the game, all your settings will be the default for each option. Go to settings and press RB/R1 to change the page to Fielding. There you will see a number of options that you can adjust to make your in-game fielding more efficient. The two main aspects of fielding are spotting and throwing the ball. The game has different options for each of these tasks.
Players can customize the game’s interface to one of four options: Ball Tracking, Driftball, Catch Indicator Off, and Automatic. These options will change how the ball is determined in the outfield. Track Ball and Drift ball show a projection of where the ball will land. You can even set this option to “Auto”to have the game catch and throw the ball itself. For throwing, you can select Button Accuracy, Analog, Buttons, and Automatic. We find “Button Accuracy”where you time your throw to improve its accuracy to be the best setting. You can use the Practice mode to try out each option and see what works best for you.
