For most of us, TikTok remains a passive activity. We are not particularly looking for videos, they come to us. However, if you’ve ever tried using the search option to search for something other than a video from a specific author, you may have had some pretty bad times. There are simply too many videos on the platform for you to be able to find a particular video, especially if it has nothing to do with the current topic.

However, it turns out that the TikTok search box can find videos you’ve already seen, this feature is only slightly hidden.

How to Find Videos You’ve Already Seen on TikTok

Here’s the trick: go to the “Discovery”tab, then click on the search bar. Find a video you want to watch again. Include as many keywords as possible. Click Search, but instead of seeing all the results, click the icon with two small lines to the right of the search bar.

This option allows you to refine your search using filters. The filter we’re interested in today is in the Activity section; Videos watched in the last 7 days. This filter will allow you to display only the videos you have watched, which is extremely useful in our case. I didn’t even know that TikTok kept a history of these videos. But as long as the platform is there, can we have a Watched Videos tab?
