To get Emeralds, you need to look for black colored stones with green gems on them. These are emerald ore rocks, from which emeralds, stone and coal fall out when they are mined with a pickaxe. There are now chances that some of them won’t drop Emeralds, as it’s mostly random. We recommend taking a villager with you while you go hunting for the Emeralds. This means that you can double your chances of finding gems. The villager must be assigned to mining, and you can even level them up for a higher chance.
