How to Download Windows 11/10 ISO File Directly (Create Link)
Whether you want to try Windows 11/10 on a separate PC or you’re itching to upgrade your existing PC, Microsoft has made it possible to directly download Windows 11/10 ISO (64-bit and 32-bit) as an ISO file. This download works just like any other files downloaded over the Internet, so we recommend that you have a download manager that resumes.
I’ve used it on a Mac and I’m not sure if it works differently on a Windows PC because you will most likely be offered an ISO based on your operating system. Using this method, you can download Windows 11/10, Windows 11/10 N, Windows 11/10 KN and Windows 11/10 for the same language. The generated download links are valid for 24 hours. Although the download will continue after that, the links will expire.

To do the same on Windows, use the agent switcher. Use a macOS or Chrome OS profile, which is why Microsoft suggests downloading the ISO instead.
Note. Microsoft now offers to download ISO without using any switch for Windows 11. However, for Windows 10, you will need to use the browser agent switch.
- For Windows 10, go to the official Windows 11/10 ISO download site. If you want to download Windows 11, follow this link.
- Scroll to the section that says “Download Windows 10 Disk Image (ISO)”or “Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)”.
- Select the version of Windows you want to download and click Confirm.
- Next, select the Windows language you want to download. You will need to select the same language when installing Windows. To see the current language, go to Time & Language in PC Settings or Region in Control Panel.
- After that, you will get two links to directly download Windows 11/10 ISO files to your computer. One link for 64-bit and one for 32-bit.
Now select one or both of the links and download them to your computer. Using this tool, you can create a bootable Windows 11/10 USB drive to install on another computer or just give it to your friends. You can also open the Windows ISO in File Explorer and run the setup file to install Windows.
