In Hogwarts Legacy, the key to opening a Slytherin door is to simply light all three braziers in sequence. This can be done by standing in the middle of all 3 braziers and then using the Confringo spell. However, make sure you quickly cast the spell on all the braziers, otherwise it won’t work. It is recommended to use Confringo because it is one of the long range spells that will surely come in handy during this puzzle. If you don’t already have this spell, just complete the In the Shadow of the Dungeon quest and you’ll be done.

For those who don’t know, there are braziers scattered in the hallway. Two of them are next to each other, and the last one can be seen as soon as you turn left. If you’re having trouble finding them, use Revelio and it will help. Once you successfully complete the requirements, the Slytherin door will open automatically, allowing you to explore beyond the doorway. As mentioned earlier, you will come across this door during the “In the Shadow of the Study”story quest. This is initiated in the early stages of the game. But still requires the player to be at least level 16.
