How to Flip Video on iPhone: The Best Free Apps You Can Use
Reverse video is trending on social media platforms these days. Mostly because of the interesting ideas in the form of videos that come to people’s minds. Although Snapchat offers a built-in reverse mode, its functionality is limited. Ironically, even the full-featured version of iMovie won’t help you flip videos on iOS.
But why bother when iGeeksBlog is here to help you? If you need to flip videos on your iPhone or iPad, this blog will be your guide.
Flip video on iPhone with InShot app
InShot comes with tons of presets, filters and transition effects. It is mainly built to provide on-the-go editing and sharing features on popular social media platforms. The only scam I found is that the app is adware and you will have to deal with it unless you pay for a premium subscription.
- Download the InShot app and open it.
- Click “Video”in the “Create New”section.
- Select a video to import and flip it.
- Tap Canvas and choose a frame (ratio). If you’re not sure about the platform you’ll be sharing, select No Frame.
- Swipe all the way to the right across the tools and select Reverse. Depending on the size of the video, this may take some time.
- Watch the video once the process is complete.
- To remove the application watermark (optional) – tap the cross (x) and watch the ad.
- Now tap on the export icon that appears in the top right corner. Here you can adjust the frame rate (preferably 60 fps), resolution, etc.
- Click the Save button.
The video will start exporting. Stay on the app screen and don’t lock your iPhone to avoid delays or process cancellations. If you want to share the video directly, click “Other”and select an app.
