To make your own plates, you will simply need to follow the steps below. They will consist of two parts: first in the iFruit application, and then in the GTA game itself.

How to set up plates in the iFruit app

Here’s what you need to do to set up the iFruit app.

• Download the Rockstar Games iFruit app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
• Connect your devices to your Grand Theft Auto Online Social Club account.
• Go to Los Santos Customs
• Here you will find four tabs – “Garage”, “Settings”, “Plates”and “Home”.
• Click the License Plates tab to make your own license plates.
• Create your own license plate by playing with color, text and background
• Choose which character will get an individual license plate
• Confirm your choice
• Restart GTA Online
• You will now receive an in-game confirmation via SMS.

If this is your first time tuning cymbals, then this first cymbal is free. However, if this is not the case, then for each plate you make after the first one, you will have to pay $100,000.

• Are you using the correct Social Club account?

• Wait for the game to load
• Now go to the online lobby
• call the mechanic
• Get the car you want to put a license plate on
• Now drive your car to Los Santos Customs.
• Go to the license plate section and select a new custom license plate.

And you’re done, now you can travel and show other players your cute new car. Keep in mind that you cannot equip two plates at the same time. So, you will need to make and equip the first one before you proceed to create the second one.
