How to get a secret magician job in Octopath Traveler 2
All 8 characters start with a default class or job in Octopath Traveler 2. In addition to these default quests, there are 4 more secret quests to unlock. Inventor, Gunsmith, Magician and Conjurer – these are the secret professions. The magician’s secret job/class is the hardest to get. How to get a secret job/magician class in Octopath Traveler 2
While most quests are unlocked by interacting with NPCs, things are different here. To get a job as a magician, you need to complete Hikari’s main story (chapter 1 to chapter 5).
Having done this, climb the five-tiered tower located in the city of Ku. Once you get here, you will have to challenge 5 different bosses. Luckily, it won’t be that tedious as you will have breaks between battles. After defeating all 5 bosses, you will face none other than the Conjurer herself. Also, the boss fight with the Spellcaster is really hard to beat as she has a total of 200,000 HP as well as abilities that can destroy anyone. However, once you defeat her, you will receive a Proof of the Conjurer license in Octopath Traveler 2.
The Caster is the best support class as it gives you the ability to restore and revive your party members.

- Rite of the Sun – Resurrects allies and fully restores their HP. In addition, it will increase their elemental and physical defense for the next 2 turns. However, you will not be able to play the next 6/5/4/3 turns.
- Dance of Immunity – Any 1 ally gains immunity to debilitating effects for 2/4/6/8 turns.
- Cast Flame – All allied weapons gain a fire attack for 2 turns.
- Cast Ice – All allied weapons gain a frost attack for 2 turns.
- Cast Lightning – All allied weapons gain a lightning attack for 2 turns.
- Generate Flurry – All allied weapons gain the ability to attack with wind for 2/3/4/5 turns.
- Prayer for Rain – All allies gain SP after taking an action on turn 2/3/4/5.
