How to get on the barge in Modern Warfare 2
Each mission in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign requires a different approach to combat, weapons and tactics. The same applies to “Wetwork”- the third mission in COD MW2. The goal is to get to the barge in order to extract information. However, players can also earn the Nessie trophy if they do so in stealth. If you’re struggling to do it, here’s how to sneak onto a barge in Modern Warfare 2.
How to get to the barge without being seen in MW2
First, you won’t have a lot of equipment to choose from. You will only have a pistol with a silencer and a throwing knife. Secondly, you will need a lot of patience when completing this mission. Without further ado, here are a few pointers.
Destroy patrol boats as early as possible
Yes, it’s really risky, but it will be easier to take out the guards on a patrol boat. The guards on the boat are equipped with submachine guns. Since they have a silencer and have a good range compared to a pistol. This can help you take down the rest of the guards quickly. Just make sure you target the guards on the patrol boat when they are away from the docks. Once they are eliminated, get on the boat and pick up any submachine gun.
Clear the guards left and right of the docks
After pulling out the patrol boat, stay in the water until you approach the guards on both sides of the dock. You just have to take down the guards without letting them see you. You can use any weapon, be it an SMG, a pistol, or a throwing knife. Once you have killed all the remaining guards, you will be able to safely enter the barge in MW2.
It’s relatively easy; you just have to wait for Captain Price to open the gate. Once you’re on board, take out the enemies inside. In the end, after you kill the last enemy in the bathroom, you will be able to get his phone and get the information you need. This will also mean the end of the mission.
That’s all you need to know about how to stealthily sneak onto a barge in Modern Warfare 2. If you found this helpful, check out our MW2 guides to learn more.
