How to get Junkstein’s Revenge Wrath Of The Bride (Legendary Mode) in Overwatch 2
Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath Of The Bride is an exciting co-op mission that is part of the Halloween Terror event in Overwatch 2. In this mission, 4 heroes – Junker Queen, Ashe, Kiriko and Sojourn team up to take on Sombra, as well as some tough bosses before her. If you haven’t won yet and want to know what you can do differently, this guide might come in handy. Here’s how to complete Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride in OW2, even on legendary mode.
How to get Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride in Overwatch 2
Here are a few general things to keep in mind before starting a mission for all modes:
- Choose the character you are most familiar with. You get four options – one tank, two damage and one healer. Choose a character whose abilities you know about, because this will ensure that you remain a valuable member of the team.
- The tasks remain the same, as does the place where the bosses spawn. So, if you want to master the objectives, replay the story mode and increase the difficulty from there.
- There are jump scares in this mission, so keep an eye out in all directions. This is because enemies can suddenly appear behind you and drain all your health as a result.
- If a teammate dies, revive them as soon as possible, especially if it’s Kiriko.
How to play angry bride?
- You will appear in the game on your own, you need to meet other players in front of the tavern marked for you in the game. Be careful, because there will be zombies around you.
- Go to the tavern and listen to the radio. You will receive a mission to rescue the Lord of the Castle, who was taken by Sombra, the creepy bride.
- To enter the castle, you need to find the key.
- This will bring out Banshee Moira – defeat her.
- Open the gate with the key and fight the evil Winstons (Gargoyles).
- Then enter the dungeon marked for you. Activate the hidden levers and enter the room with creepy looking Echoes (Puppets). Defeat them.
- Move forward until you meet Symmetra (Summoner) and after defeating her, have Ash use her bomb to force the door open.
- Next, you will encounter Sigma, the Unstoppable Ghost. How to defeat him? You can not! You should dodge his damage orb whenever he is near you because you will take a lot of damage from him. Dodge and move away from him while moving.
- As you move forward, you will see an enemy called Experiment (Bastion) that you need to kill.
- You must now enter the Throne Room where you will encounter the final boss.
- Fight Sombra, but be careful, you will run into Zombies, Sigma will reappear and Sombra will also use all of his abilities against you.
- Once she is killed, you will win the challenge.
Junkenstein’s Revenge Wrath Of The Bride Survival Tips
Since you have four characters, of which only one is a healer, here are a few tactics you can use to survive longer:
- When enemies spawn in a group, Sojorn should use her Disruptor Shot and Ash can throw her dynamite to destroy them faster.
- Kiriko must be healed after each important milestone, because other than her, only the Junker Queen has the ability to temporarily restore health (and heal allies) with a command shout. Make sure Kiriko stays alive.
- Kiriko can use teleportation to avoid situations where she could be surrounded by enemy waves.
- When you’re in an enclosed space, such as a dungeon passageway or castle room, use Destructive Shot to deal damage to any approaching enemies. Shock tires must be destroyed as quickly as possible.
- As Sojorn, the ability to evade dangerous situations is crucial, but Ash lacks the ability to speed. If Junker Queen uses his Commanding Shout, Ash will gain a temporary movement speed boost. Also, Kiriko’s Kitsune Rush, if used at the right time, can provide easy elimination of enemies.
- There are no flying enemies in this scenario (Sigma that flies can’t be damaged and Echo just flies too) so you don’t have to worry about this aspect.
- If you’re playing on higher difficulties, you should duck and dodge at the right time instead of firing all the guns.
- I would recommend using your ults against bosses instead of the smaller enemies you encounter halfway through.
How to defeat Banshee Moira
Junker Queen is a good counter to Moira. By combining the Jagged Blade ability (using it to pull her in) and then using sawed-off shots, Moira can be destroyed. During this, other players can focus on both Moira and the Zombies.
How to Defeat Gargoyle Winston
In this situation, Sojourn will be most useful. With her Disruptor Orb, Railgun and ultimate Ashe Dynamite & BOB you can get a lot of kills. Also, Winston is tanky, so Junker Queen’s close range attacks can turn the fight in your favor. Meanwhile, Kiriko can continue to heal and destroy smaller enemies.
How to defeat the Echo Puppet
This is a small room where Ash and the Junker Queen can deal maximum damage along with Sojorn. Also, don’t forget to headshot Echo with Kiriko’s kunai attacks and also make allies invulnerable for a while. A good trick for Sojourn is to get on top of the clock so you have a good vantage point to kill the Echoes.
How to defeat Summoner Symmetra and Winston
Split the group in two and make sure your enemies are not together. Destroy Symmetra’s turrets first. Asha may need to use her Coach Gun ability as well as magnification attacks from her semi-automatic rifle to defeat Symmetra. Meanwhile, Junker Queen and Sojourn are able to kill Winston, but don’t let him get too close. At this stage, Sojorn will have to cancel Power Slide more often.
How to defeat Sombra Bride
- Sombra will appear in the Throne Room, where she will attempt to flip a switch to torture Reinhardt. You have to make sure his health doesn’t drop too much, so Junker Queen, Sojourn, and Ashe should focus on Sombra while Kiriko makes sure the team keeps getting healed.
- As Sojorn, you can climb on wooden furniture in the middle of the room, dodge enemies and attack from a higher vantage point.
- When Sombra uses a translocator, destroy it immediately to shorten the fight.
- Ash especially needs to stay away from zombie robots.
- Sigma will reappear, so run around to avoid his damage sphere. While Sigma is chasing one hero, the rest should focus on Sombra and other enemies. It can get chaotic, so be prepared.
Best character to play
I’d say it’s Sojourn because of her Disruptor Shot, Power Slide, and Railgun, all of which are best for this type of co-op mission. A good Sojourn player can take out enemies from a distance before they have a chance to reach your group. You can do a ground slide and cancel it with a high jump to hit enemies from above with Disruptor Shot.
How to win Wrath Of The Bride on Legendary
While there are no specific “tricks”that will help you win in Legendary Mode other than those mentioned above, here are some things that are of paramount importance at higher difficulty levels:
- Don’t let anyone die, especially Kiriko. If the team survives the waves and defeats the bosses with smart judgment, planning and voice chat communication, you will achieve victory in the legendary mode. Don’t forget to constantly check the health bars on the left, which will indicate which player needs to be respawned.
- Stay away from gargoyles. They are too strong up close, so keep dealing damage from a distance. Junker Queen players can try their hand at close range attacking.
- When Banshee Moira uses her ult, hide behind walls because it is quite powerful. This area has plenty of room to hide and reappear to damage it.
- Head back to the rooms when you encounter waves – you don’t want to get right into the thick of enemies, especially if Sigma is coming at you.
