How to Reset Data Service on Your Apple iPhone
On the Apple iPhone, like on any other smartphone, there may be connection problems. How to react in this case? Follow the leader.
You’re scrolling through your Twitter feed, getting lost in the twists and turns of TikTok, when all of a sudden your iPhone stops receiving data. This outage happens from time to time. Therefore, you should know how to deal with such situations, restart the service to continue doing what you were doing.
Let’s get rid of what can happen by accident: you could put your phone in airplane mode or disable data transfer. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open Control Center and make sure Airplane mode is off and Cellular is on. If you want to restart your smartphone, press and hold the side button and the volume down key until the power screen appears. Swipe to turn off. Wait 10-15 seconds and press and hold the side button to reboot.
How to Force Restart iPhone
You can force a restart if necessary. The process is a little longer and varies somewhat between iPhones. If you have a new iPhone (with Face ID), press and hold the volume up button and then quickly press the volume down button. Then keep pressing the side button until the screen turns off and the Apple logo appears.

Removing the SIM card from your iPhone for a while can also sometimes help restart the service. Use the SIM tool that came with your phone and insert it into the small hole on the side of the device. Take out the SIM card, wait a while and put it back in.
If all else fails, take the device to your carrier or Apple Store.

Also consider ordering another SIM card. If your iPhone is physically damaged or you’re experiencing antenna issues, you’ll need to contact someone at an Apple Store.
