How to save the game in the forest? (explanation)
Being surprised in the woods can sometimes be a near-death experience. There are various threats such as wild animals and cannibals lurking in the wild lands. This certainly leaves you vulnerable to losing all the progress you have made in the game. Therefore, it is important to save the game from time to time. Although there is no “Save Game”option in the menu, which may confuse some of you. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Read this guide to the end to learn how to save your game in the forest.
How to save progress in the forest
In the Forest, you can save your game progress by finding save points. These save points are nothing but shelters such as tents, small wooden shacks, campsites, etc. Such shelters are scattered around the map and can be used to save the game.
Another way to save the game in the Forest is to build your own Vault. Not sure about this? Here’s how to build it:
- Firstly, an Ax is required to build the Vault. This will help you collect other needed resources like wood logs, leaves, sticks, rocks, etc.
- Also, open your Book of Survival and go to the Shelters tab. In doing so, you will find 4 types of main Vaults, which include:
- temporary shelter
- The required items are 26 leaves and 14 sticks.
- hunting shelter
- Items needed are 7 sticks, 6 stones and 7 logs.
- log cabin
- Items required – 82x logs
- small cabin
- Items required – 13 logs
- temporary shelter
- Once you have created any of these Vaults, you can save your game progress in the Forest.
- Just go to the Vault and hold the “Disk”button on the screen to save the game.
- Also, keep in mind that the temporary shelter will automatically disappear after you rest in it.
