How to Delete Cookies and Site Data on iPhone
If a site does not load properly on your iPhone, it may be due to cookies and/or site data stored on the device. Here’s how to remove them.
When you visit a website on your iPhone through a browser, you expect it to load correctly. In this case, there may be cases when the operation fails completely or the site does not load correctly. There can be many reasons for this, whether it’s your own connection or a problem with the server itself, not to mention a bug in the code.. . There are many reasons why a site does not load well on your smartphone.
But if you know it’s not your connection or the site itself, then your phone might be the problem. Before changing your smartphone or resetting it to factory settings, you can try deleting cookies and site data. Here’s how to do it on iPhone.
Clear cookies and site data
Safari
- Go to “Settings”, then click on “Safari”.
- Click Clear history and site data.
- Click Clear history and data to confirm.
You can also delete cookies only by saving your browsing history:
- Direction settings, then Safari.
- Scroll down and click “Advanced”.
- Click “Site Data”and then click “Delete All Site Data”.
Chromium
If you are using Google Chrome instead of Safari, the method for clearing cookies and website data is slightly different.
- Launch Chrome, then click on the icon with three small dots in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Click “Settings”, then “Privacy”.
- Click on Clear browsing data.
- Select the data you want to delete.
- Click “Clear Browsing Data”at the bottom, then confirm by clicking “Clear Browsing Data”again.
