How to Delete Albums in the Photos App on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
  2. Click “Albums”in the bottom row.
  3. After that, press and hold the album you want to delete.
  4. A context menu will appear. Click “Delete Album”from the options.
  5. Select “Delete Album”to confirm your choice.

1. Go to Photos → Albums.

So it will delete the whole photo album on iPhone, but it won’t delete pictures from that album.

Note. You cannot delete the Recent Photos album on your iPhone.
