Which Fortnite weapon does the most damage?

Fortnite is one of the rare games that is constantly changing. With each new season comes a host of new emotes, skins, and mind-blowing experiences for players. But the main mechanics of the game remained the same – shooting and building. But which weapon does the most damage? We’re looking at the weapons that give the most damage per second (DPS) in Fortnite.

Fortnite Guns that deal the most damage

  1. Thunder Shotgun – With 85.27 damage per second in epic and 90.28 in legendary variant, Thunder Shotgun has a rate of fire of 0.76. This combination currently makes it the best shotgun you can get.
  2. Role-playing game. As with all weapon-based games, RPGs are all about dealing damage. The base damage of 115 and 130 in epic and legendary variants may be enough for most, but the high structural damage stats of 315/330 make it a favorite for demolishing a fort in a crowd.
  3. Assault Rifle “Red Eye”- a small magazine for 25 rounds is compensated by a stable damage of 133 units. per second and reduced recoil. Accuracy is what is required of this weapon, as the low rate of fire will force you to choose your targets carefully.

Vaulted weapon

This is a weapon that is only available for a limited time, after which it is removed from the game. You can try all vaulted weapons in creative mode.

  • Zappertron – with two alternative shooting styles; The Zappertron was the only energy weapon in the game at the time of its release. This energy sniper rifle only came in its legendary variant and was so powerful that Epic hasn’t brought it back into the battle royale mode since 2017.
  • Double-barreled shotgun. Like all other shotguns, the Double Barrel Shotgun requires you to be in close proximity to the enemy for maximum effect. You can find this in the epic and legendary class, where each of the two shots deals 114 to 120 base damage.
  • Tommy gun. Even though Tommy’s pistol has only been in battle royale mode for 2 months, it is still a fan favorite thanks to its 50-round magazine size and fast reload time. A base damage of 27 combined with a high rate of fire and magazine size will always result in an instant kill in most situations.

Although these weapons deal the most damage, it is not recommended to select a weapon based on its stats alone, as each weapon has its own unique features. The only way to find the right weapon you need to get this victory royale is to try every weapon type you can find.
