Lenovo is preparing to launch its new gaming smartphone. The company announces the launch of the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming phone. The device is expected to launch in February. However, the company has not yet announced an exact launch date. It is expected to be launched during the Chinese New Year holiday season. Ahead of the official launch, the technical specifications of the device have been leaked online.

Lenovo Legion Y90 will be the next flagship performance gaming smartphone. The phone will go on sale in February in China. According to the leaked information, the gaming smartphone will be equipped with a top-notch Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The device is rumored to have up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
To improve battery life, the Legion Y90 is equipped with a massive 5500 mAh battery. It will come with support for 68W fast charging, which we recently spotted on the 3C. On the front, the phone will have a tall 6.92-inch display. The E4 AMOLED panel will support a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also have a touch sampling rate of 720Hz. In terms of tactile experience, the phone will be equipped with a double linear motor on the X axis.
The company has already teased the design of the device. A teaser video uploaded to Weibo showed that the device has a camera module right in the center. The protruding module houses a dual chamber with the Legion logo in the center. There are ventilation holes next to the camera sensors to dissipate heat from the inside. The device is expected to be released with fans inside for faster thermal cooling. The phone is also expected to feature two USB Type-C ports for charging.
