Kojima Productions announces collaboration with Microsoft
Microsoft is teaming up with Japanese studio Kojima Productions to create an original exclusive.
Game designer Hideo Kojima, very often associated with Sony and the PlayStation brand, will also be working for the contest: “There is a game that I have always wanted to make. This is a completely new game that no one has seen or tried before. I’ve been waiting a long time for the day when I can finally start creating it. With Microsoft’s cutting-edge cloud computing technology and changing industry trends, you can now challenge yourself to realize this unique vision. It may take a while, but I’m looking forward to teaming up with Xbox Game Studios and hope to bring you some exciting news about it in the future!”

The new Kojima Productions license for US publisher Microsoft’s Xbox consoles and presumably for PC has neither a title nor a release date yet. Development is still in its infancy, but it should be a relatively short gaming experience.
