The Palera1n team teases iOS 16.4 support, welcoming dora2ios to the team
On Wednesday, the palera1n team made some important announcements, and if you haven’t played the game with close attention, it was easy to miss them.
The first announcement involved the addition of @dora2ios to the team of palera1n, a developer who is known for his efforts in using tools such as Bakera1n and kok3shi:
Second, the Palera1n team shared a screenshot of the Palera1n jailbreak app showing an iPhone X running iOS 16.4 being jailbroken using this tool:
The second announcement was followed by a tweet from @dora2ios saying that they have added iOS and iPadOS 16.4 support to palera1n, but it is currently only supported in non-root mode; non-root mode:
The palera1n team has not yet officially updated the Palara1n-c jailbreak tool to support iOS and iPadOS 16.4, so it’s safe to say that the newfangled support is preliminary and still being tested before it’s released to the general public.
However, this is great news because it is not known when iOS and iPadOS 16.4, which were released to the general public this week, will be supported. A new collaboration between @dora2ios and the palera1n team seems to be accelerating progress, which is good for everyone.
We are confident that the palera1n team will release an official update soon, but there is no expected arrival time yet. You can download the latest version of palera1n-c from the palera1n team’s official website pa1era.in
and stay tuned as they stay up to date.
As always, palera1n-c only supports iOS 15.0-16.x on A9-A11 devices up to and including the iPhone X due to its dependency on the checkm8 bootloader exploit. The palera1n-c jailbreak will never support new devices.
