Samsung Galaxy S22 series components enter mass production, launch scheduled for early 2022

Previously, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series was seen to have passed the 3C certification, and shortly after, details about the Galaxy S22 Ultra began to surface online. The S22 Ultra initially offered 45W fast charging and a 5,000mAh battery, and the phone was also revealed to come with a 108MP camera. According to the latest report from WinFuture, Samsung is already working on the next S series smartphones and the company has already started mass production of components for the next three flagship phones – Galaxy S22 (SM-S901), Galaxy S22 Plus (SM-S906) and Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908).

However, the phones don’t seem to be going into assembly anytime soon as current production is limited to a few components. The report also states that Samsung is currently focusing on the US variant of the devices. While there is no word from Samsung on a launch date for the new S22 devices, some reports claim that Samsung could officially launch the devices by the end of January 2022, while others claim the phones could be released in February 2022. it could be the Galaxy S21 FE, which could be released in January 2022, although it’s already quite delayed.

At the moment, little is known about phones either. However, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch QHD+LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone can be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC or Exynos 2200. As mentioned earlier, the phone could have a 108MP main camera along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. 3x optical zoom. There should also be a 10MP periscope zoom lens that will offer up to 10x optical zoom.

S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra can carry 3700mAh, 4500mAh and 5000mAh batteries respectively. However, only the Galaxy S22 Ultra can offer up to 45W fast charging, while the other two options will only offer 25W fast charging.
