Crypto art platform Outland raises $5 million
Outland stands out as an NFT cultural platform, enough to define the cultural network3 that awaits us.
Outland, a new crypto art platform based in Los Angeles, has officially completed its initial $5 million fundraiser in March 2022. OKG Ventures, IMO Ventures, Dragon Roark and JDAC Capital have invested in this cultural network leader3.
Outland has established itself as a cultural NFT platform.
Launched in February of this year, Outland has captured worldwide attention from both the cryptographic and traditional art markets. The platform’s first project, Elemental, is an NFT series by contemporary Chinese artist Fang Lijun. Elemental has received over 4,000 ETH from primary and secondary sales and has been on the top of OpenSea since its launch.
In April 2022, Outland launched a major NFT collaboration with American artist James Jean. The latter created a collection of 7,000 titles that were sold in a five-minute public sale for a total of 3,700 ETH. The second wave of James Jean’s collaboration with Outland will begin at https://www.adriftworld.io/. This will be the first collection of narrative, iterative and interactive NFTs that form their own cinematic universe.
In July 2022, Outlant will present 3FACE, the first large-scale project by New York-based artist Jan Cheng, who has participated in the Venice Biennale and has curated exhibitions at several prestigious institutions, including the Serpentine Gallery in London and MoMA PS1 in New York.
As the leading NFT platform founded by art curators, critics and experts, Outland will continue to expand its influence through international vision and exceptionally fair foresight. With the guidance and help of artists from a wide range of backgrounds, Outland has set the standard for web3 collaboration.
What defines the cultural network3 that awaits us?
To present interesting perspectives on the future of the art world, the new Outland platform seeks to create the opportunity for critical exchanges in areas such as digital technology and the contemporary art world.
Outland is the first international NFT platform founded by a group of major players from prestigious institutions, galleries or museums. Outland is built on a community of influencers dedicated to creating, critiquing, and collecting digital art, which encourages active public exchange. In addition to providing technical and strategic assistance to artists, Outland is developing a platform for in-depth analysis of contemporary art and forging new paths from the studio to the market through partnerships with museums, galleries and other cultural institutions.
