Lenovo Legion Slim 7, Legion 5 Pro, AMD variants and more launch in October with Windows 11

Laptop maker Lenovo has announced a range of new laptops that will ship with Windows 11 out of the box. The company said that with the addition of Windows 11, its laptops will get a range of new features, including voice input, command chat, widgets, and advanced touch gestures. The laptops that get Windows 11 right away aren’t just the usual thin and light devices, the company also includes some of its 2-in-1 convertible laptops in the lineup. Lenovo said that all of these laptops will arrive during the “holiday month.”

Here is the complete list…

Ideapad Slim 3i

The Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3i is the company’s entry-level laptop with a 14-inch display and is powered by 11-Gen Intel processors. It supports Dolby Audio playback and has a webcam privacy shutter. It’s priced at around $405.

Ideapad Slim 5i

More expensive, around $880, but caters to more demanding users. The Lenovo Slim 5i features a 14-inch FHD display with narrow bezels and Dolby Audio speakers. The initial version of this device is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

The Windows 11 update will also affect Lenovo’s gaming line of laptops. The company said that the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro will also receive an update. It is powered by 11th generation Intel processors and has Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards inside. There is also a WQXGA display on board, as well as Nahimic sound and Lenovo Ai Engine.

Lenovo Legion Slim 7

And while we’re reviewing the Legion series, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 will also get a new update. Unlike the Legion 5 Pro, this one has AMD Ryzen chips inside as well as Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs for graphics. They are designed to be ultra-light yet still deliver high performance.

So far, Lenovo has only announced these four laptops, but you can assume there will be other devices from the company with Windows 11. Existing devices with 10th generation Intel processors and even older ones will receive the update.
