LG Introduces Two New UltraFine OLED 4K Monitors
LG is introducing two new UltraFine monitors, both with OLED panels and 4K resolution.
A few years ago, after working with Apple, LG introduced a new line of monitors called UltraFine. For those who love this line of UltraFine screens and want something a little fresher today, know that the brand has just unveiled two new dual-diagonal LG UltraFine monitors, 27″and 32″, both in 4K resolution and with an OLED panel.
LG Introduces Two New UltraFine Monitors
These two screens are very similar to each other. Both have, as written above, the same resolution and the same screen technology. These two monitors also have a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. They also have sensors for self-calibration, a removable cover, a 1ms response time, and a 60Hz refresh rate. In other words, there is nothing stupid compared to today’s standards.
Both have an OLED panel and offer 4K resolution.
These two new LG UltraFine displays also have USB ports with 90W output. In other words, this will allow you to charge your laptop by connecting it to the screen with a single cable, which is ideal for owners of a MacBook Air or Pro. who like pretty minimalistic configurations and want to limit the number of cables. There are also four additional USB ports, two DisplayPort inputs, and one HDMI port.
While prices for these screens have yet to be officially announced based on previous models, we expect the 32-inch model to be around $4,000 and the 27-inch model to be at least $2,000. Thus, the price positioning is quite high, which will allow them to be reserved for the most complete wallets. Let’s wait for the official approval of tariffs to make sure of it. Until then, patience.
