The line of smartphones Honor Series 70 is officially presented

Honor forms the Honor Series 70 line in China, three new models with a very interesting price-performance ratio.

With the new Honor 70 line just launched in China, we now have a preview of what the global market will be able to see from the brand: three new smartphones priced between $400 and $650: Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro and Honor. 70 Pro+.

Honor formalizes the Honor Series 70 lineup in China

The difference between these three models is, after all, pretty simple, it’s basically screen size, processor, and built-in camera sensors, which are obviously better if you go to the market. At the same time, even the base Honor 70 is very interesting. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ processor with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB RAM.

There are two high-performance sensors on the back, supported by a 2MP sensor dedicated to bokeh effect for portraits. The ultra-wide sensor is very powerful, almost as powerful as the main sensor, which is very interesting and quite logical, since the ultra-wide is quite popular in mobile photography.

Above the 6.67-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate sits a 32-megapixel selfie sensor, which should promise good video call quality far beyond what a laptop typically offers.

The 4800mAh battery, meanwhile, approaches the 5000mAh maximum currently found in high-end smartphones and charges at 66W, faster than many models.

Three new models with a very attractive price/performance ratio

The Honor 70 Pro is a slightly improved version, with a 6.78-inch screen and, more importantly, a 3x telephoto lens with optical image stabilization. This model is also equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chip, more powerful than Snapdragon 778G+.

The battery is “only”4500 mAh, so smaller than the base Honor 70, likely due to the space taken up by the telephoto lens. However, it can be charged at 100W for extremely fast charging.

Finally, the Honor 70 Pro+ is eligible for the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, which is much faster than the Dimensity 8000 and offers what MediaTek currently does best in terms of image processing. It will be interesting to see if there is a visual difference in image quality between the two chips.
