There are four types of magic in Forspoken: purple, red, blue, and green, and here are the best spells to unlock in each one.

Purple Magic Freya (Earth)

• Explosive Shot: One of the first skills you can upgrade to deal a lot of damage to enemies. Burst Shot is a precision attack that also acts as an AoE, hitting multiple enemies at once.
• Tendril: Tendril is one of the best spells to unlock in Forspoken as it damages the enemy and heals you at the same time. This attack will cause a magical whiplash around you, dealing damage and knocking enemies back.
• Implant: This is a great skill that can be used against tanks or bosses. Its seeds drain an enemy’s health for approximately 30 seconds.

Red Magic Strength (Fire)

• Blast Slice: This spell summons a fiery lance that deals damage to the enemy and the surrounding area. However, you can also use it if you have a lot of enemies. Use this spell while you are in the air and it will create an AoE around you.

• Cataract: This spell creates a vortex of water that sucks enemies in and deals damage. If there are multiple enemies in front of you, you can rely on this attack to get rid of them.
• Oubliette: With this spell, you can create a huge ball of water and lure the enemy into it. If you are facing a strong opponent with minions, catch the stronger one and destroy the minions to get more breathing room.
• Up and Away: This skill allows you to avoid sticky situations and quickly change your magic type. If you are surrounded by enemies, you can use this spell to create a column of water to fly into the air away from them. In addition, it also deals damage to enemies within its range.

Olas Green Magic (Light)

• Warp: Warp is an AoE type spell, but what makes it the best thing about Forspoken is that it confuses the enemy. Confused enemies will draw attention away from Frey and start attacking each other.
• Storm: This spell summons deadly lightning from the ground to attack enemies in a wide area. As it improves, damage and attack area will increase.
