Love Death + Robots Adult Animated Anthology
Executive Producer Tim Miller explained the appeal of Love, Death + Robots to an adult audience:
I felt that there wasn’t much adult animation in the West, especially in America, and especially not at a budget level that would allow for a really high end range of CGI like what was going on at Pixar and DreamWorks for kids. We felt it was time to do it for adults.
Netflix’s announcement of the new season was made using flash images in several bright colors with the words “Volume F***!”and three small images illustrating three key words that sum up the series (like heart for love, X for death, and tiny robot head for…robots).
