Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: how to defeat the giant WildClaw?

The giant WildClaw Boss is hard to beat in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The boss has a wide range of areas to move along with the minions guarding it. Buying with the right combination of command, attacks, sparks and some health boost can make it easy. In this guide, you will learn simple tricks on how to easily defeat the Giant WildClaw, as well as learn the details of the unlocked new relationships.

How to defeat the giant wild claw?

To take part in the battle with the Giant Wild Claw, all characters on your team must be level 3. After defeating this boss, you will unlock the 4th level. Here is a list of teams that are best suited to fight Wild Claw.

Team:

• Mario – Level 3 (Spark – Pyrostar Level 2)
• Edge – Level 3 (Spark – Exosphere Lvl 1)
• Rabbid Peach – Level 3 (Spark – Starburst Lvl 2)

Sparks: how to get more sparks?

• Pyrostar: Burn Attack (All weapon attacks deal 78-97 fire damage and have fire burning super effects.) Burn Protector (Damage from all super effects is reduced by 25%. Heroes are not affected by Burn’s fire super effects.)
• Exosphere: Fortify (Allies within range take 25% less damage, including super effects). Sportsman (Increases the damage of all movement abilities by 15%).
• Starburst: Turbo Charge (Allies within range deal 30% more damage with attacks and movement abilities.) Physical Protection (Profitable physical damage is reduced by 20%).

Items:

• Super Mushroom: Restores 30% of your health points.

Rabbid Peach is a combat healer, an ability that can heal heroes on the battlefield. It helps a lot when you are in desperate need of HP. With this carry, don’t forget to have some super mushrooms in your inventory. Each member of the team will be limited in movement, and the boss will have freedom of movement over a large area. After attacking, he will approach and attack. There will be black portals on the ground. Each of them can spawn one enemy, you can destroy them.

At the beginning there will be two portals, and later three more will appear. You can ignore them and focus on the boss fight. After that, follow the attack strategy below and focus all your attacks on the boss. If you can find a line of attack where small soldiers are within reach, that would be the best move.

• Mario – Burn Attack + Dual Slinger (25-32 damage)
• Rabbid Peach – Turbo Charge + Triple-Troll (40-49 DMG x3)
• Edge – Flying Blade (156-195 DMG)

Boss Fight Tips:

1. Heal your team members first before engaging in combat. Maxout HP will help you deal with damage from small enemies.
2. Stay in cover, Wild Claw will not directly attack you or approach you if you are behind a wall.
3. Whenever you use the Edge Fortify ability, make sure the other two team members are within range. So they can take -25% less damage.
4. Use the Rabbid Peach Heal ability to restore 20% HP.
5. Use the Rabbid Peach Turbocharge ability to increase damage by 30%.
6. Use the Edge Fortify ability to take 25% less damage.
7. To eliminate small enemies, use Dual Slinger if high damage is displayed above their heads.
8. Try to deal maximum damage and focus on the Giant Wild Claw. Smaller enemies won’t hurt you much if you hide.
9. Switch between allies to keep changing their positions.

Enemies in turn change their positions. You will also have to move your allies to safety. Try not to get too close to the boss as this will increase the intensity of the DMG.
