Apple Take Note Event Wallpapers for iPad and iPhone
Apple surprised us with a lack of events in October 2022. Historically, Apple hosts an event in October that usually focuses on the iPad line and sometimes new Mac hardware. However, this year, rumors have correctly identified that the October event will not take place. Instead, a slew of press releases came from Apple’s newsroom, with one hilarious tweet from Tim Cook urging fans to #TakeNote. This wallpaper set is based on the iPad’s “Take a Note”announcement.

Quick Draw (pun intended) @BasicAppleGuy released a set of iPad wallpapers inspired by what appear to be hand-drawn Apple Pencil glyphs. The tweet from Tim Cook shown below came before the announcement. The GIF scrolls through an endless pattern of these colorful glyphs. Each of the drawings uses the new colors of the iPad models.
Apple has not sent an official media invitation. Tim’s tweet turned out to be the only forward-facing image for the event, aside from images of equipment in actual press releases.

@BasicAppleGuy took inspiration from graphics and created his own collection of iPhone wallpapers inspired by the announcement of the iPad. These light and dark modes are perfect for working together in the new iOS 16 background editor. Each of the options below showcase different glyphs in the new iPad colorways. We can assume that since the new iPad received support for the Apple Pencil (though only the first generation), the drawings are a hint of this possibility.
If you like backgrounds for your favorite Apple devices, keep an eye out for midweek uploads, peaks of upcoming posts, and general Apple gadget banter.
