Minecraft Legends: Mojang Studios explores action and strategy

Minecraft Legends, developed by Blackbird Interactive in collaboration with Mojang Studios, is a spin-off that traces the history of the Overworld against an invasion of voracious pigs called Piglins.

With strategy elements behind the gameplay and mechanics inspired by immersive action games, Minecraft Legends lets you enter the world from a third-person perspective. In the story campaign, players will have to protect peaceful colonies and fight hordes of pigs in order to stop the spread of corruption in the Nether.

According to the tales, only players can collect the mobs of the Overworld and help them defend their home. The events in which they will take part are neither real nor imaginary; they are simply part of a story passed from one inhabitant to another. There is no trace or evidence of the great hero who raised his banner to save the Overworld – all that remains is a mighty legend.

Minecraft Legends releases April 18 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud games after launch. Please note that the PvP mode offers 4v4 encounters. The goal is to build and defend your village while destroying the enemy base.

In addition to the standard edition of Minecraft Legends, there will be a deluxe edition containing a set of exclusive skins.
