MLB The Show 22: baseball sim will be ported to Nintendo Switch

In addition to the PlayStation and Xbox versions, Sony Interactive Entertainment announces that a new version of MLB The Show will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

Now cross-platform since last year, Sony’s famous license opens up a little more competition: “For the second year in a row, MLB The Show is expanding to a new platform and offering fans a new way to play!”MLB The Show 22 will be available for the first time on Nintendo Switch, expanding the console lineup. Of note, Sony Interactive Entertainment and PlayStation’s career guidance program continues to partner with the Jackie Robinson Foundation around the MLB The Show license and a new baseball simulation opus. Thus, for every Collector’s Edition sold in the US, one dollar will be donated to JRF by December 31st.

MLB The Show 22 is scheduled for April 5th. There are no plans for a free update between the two generations of consoles, but cross-play, cross-save, and cross-platform are confirmed.
