Apple iPhone 14 Pro models feature punch-hole displays

Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 series in India and other international markets. The company has released four new iPhone models. About three months have passed since the launch, and reports about the iPhone 14 series have surfaced online. According to a new report from The Elec, Apple will launch four new models. These devices will have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. This means the 5.4-inch model won’t get an upgrade next year. However, the main update is for the Pro models. According to the report, Apple will phase out the Pro models in 2022. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features and other details of the Apple iPhone 14 models.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro display specs unveiled

Apple is said to be saying goodbye to the iPhone 14 Pro models. The report says that a hole punch will be cut into the display instead. The hole punch cutout could be placed in the top center of the screen for the front camera. According to the report, the American tech giant will place Face ID hardware under the display. The Pro model will have a 6.1-inch display, while the Pro Max variant will have a 6.7-inch screen, which is the same as the current generation devices. Both devices will have an LTPO OLED display with ProMotion display technology.

Standard iPhone 14 models will also have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. Apple won’t be including ProMotion display technology on its non-professional models, and these entry-level iPhone 14 models will ship with a 60Hz panel. The two devices also feature a wide notch that we can find on the iPhone 13 series.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a hole punch on Pro models. Earlier this year, whistleblower Jon Prosser posted renderings of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It has been revealed that the device will have a center-aligned punch-hole display. The device will also feature titanium construction and a triple camera on the back.
