Moto Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 to launch in China on December 9
Motorola will introduce the Moto Edge X30 smartphone in China on December 9th. The company confirmed the launch date of the Moto Edge X30 in a teaser posted on Weibo this morning. The teaser also reveals that the Moto Edge X30 will be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The upcoming Moto Edge X30 is rumored to hit the global market as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Key specs that the phone offers include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display, a 50MP triple camera setup, 512GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Moto Edge X30 Specifications (Expected)
Renders and key specs of the upcoming Moto Edge X30 (Moto Edge 30 Ultra) have already been released by 91Mobiles. According to known details, the Moto Edge X30 will sport a punch-hole display. The smartphone will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. As Motorola has officially confirmed, the Edge X30 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The smartphone may have 8/12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of software, we can expect the Edge X30 to boot Android 11 out of the box.
The optics department of the Edge X30 can be handled with a triple camera setup. The camera module should include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP secondary lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 60-megapixel selfie camera can be installed on the front of the phone. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that can provide support for 68W fast charging. The smartphone must measure 163.1 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm.
In terms of connectivity, the device may offer features such as a dual SIM slot, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS NFC, and USB Type-C. Other key features the phone has to offer include an IP52 rating and stereo speakers.
