The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be the company’s premium flagship for 2022. The device is expected to be released very soon. We still have to wait for the official launch date of the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, some key details of the device have been leaked. The latest development reveals the key features of Motorola’s upcoming flagship smartphone. It was listed on the TENAA certification website in China. The phone is expected to launch as the Edge X in China. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be launched as Moto Edge X in China. The device with model number XT2201-2 was registered with TENAA prior to its launch. The phone features a tall 6.67-inch display with a hole-punch hole at the top. The AMOLED display has Full HD+ resolution and comes with 144Hz refresh rate support.
Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898, also known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip. Qualcomm’s flagship processor is expected to be released on November 30 at the Snapdragon Summit. Motorola is likely to be one of the first to launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 smartphone.
The performance block will include 8GB/12GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4,700mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. Motorola’s upcoming flagship will run Android 12 with MYUI 3.0 layer on top.
The phone will be IP52 rated for splash resistance and come with stereo speakers. It will be equipped with a triple camera on the back. The phone will feature a 50-megapixel main sensor from Omnivision with OIS support. It will be accompanied by another 50MP sensor, the S5KJN1, which is likely a super wide sensor. Finally, there is a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 60 MP front camera sensor. It will weigh 201 grams and be 8.4mm thick.
