Goosebumps: New TV series in development
Based on the novels by R. L. Stine, Goosebumps will not be an anthology series like it was in the 1990s.
Like the Jack Black films, the new Goosebumps TV series for the Disney+ streaming platform will be ten episodes long and will follow a group of five high school students who unleash supernatural forces on their city and must work together – thanks and despite their friendship, rivalry and past with each other – to save her, in the process learning a lot about teenage secrets from their parents.
Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman are the writers and executive producers of the series, while Nick Stoller is an executive producer through Stoller Global Solutions. Rob Letterman will also direct the first episode. Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty of Original Film, Conor Welch of Stoller Global Solutions, and Iole Lucchese and Caitlin Friedman of Scholastic Entertainment also serve as executive producers. Sony Pictures Television Studios will produce.
