Miriam’s mentor in Elden Ring is one of the most difficult and annoying bosses in Elden Ring. The NPC Invader loves to hide behind other enemies as she uses an endless amount of magic attacks. Moreover, she will start teleporting as soon as you pass the first phase. This fight is incredibly difficult for ranged and magical characters. But it’s also a nightmare for players who have a melee build. We have an easy way to defeat Superior Miriam using the Cheese method. Keep reading to find out.

How to beat Mentor Miriam in Elden Ring (Cheese method)

You can easily defeat Miriam’s mentor in Elden Ring by luring her into the elevator shaft and taking her to the lower floor. You will then need to take the elevator back up. Trying to attack you, Miriam will fall into the water hole under the elevator shaft and die.

The Cheese strategy is often used to easily win such fights by manipulating a flaw in the game’s design. In our case, it was a pool of water under the lift. We were able to catch Miriam easily without taking any serious damage. To help you understand in simple terms, here is a step by step guide on how to defeat Miriam in Elden Ring:

1. As soon as you enter the Carian Training Hall, go up the stairs halfway to fight Miriam and quickly kill the enemies that appear.
2. Then go to the elevator room and hide behind the wall to keep an eye on it.
3. Wait for Miriam to come closer, the wall will be your shield.
4. Now try to lure her into the elevator shaft. Move the elevator down when she is very close.
5. Then wait for her to go down to the lower floor. Try running around the mine to make it fall. If she doesn’t, send the elevator to the top floor.
6. Now, after a few moments, take the elevator down. Miriam will go down with the elevator.
7. Your ultimate goal is to dodge her attacks with the walls around you and take the elevator back to the top floor.
8. Once you get to the top floor, try moving around the shaft or hall. Since Miriam will reach for you and her attacks will be futile, she will eventually fall into the pool of water below the mine and die.
