How to summon games in NBA 2K23
There are two ways to name games in NBA 2K23. Let’s start with the first method, which involves positional calling. Here’s how to invoke the game for all supported platforms:
- Press the L1 (PS), LB (Xbox), or L (Nintendo) button.
- You will now see various buttons hovering above your team members.

- When you press that player’s button, you’ll see different call playback options.
- You can use your controller’s left and right triggers for more options.
- Then select the appropriate call playback you want to perform.
Follow these steps for the second method:
- Alternatively, you can press the left arrow key on your controller’s D-pad.
- This will bring up the Favorite Plays section of the menu.
- You can choose the default call playback or the call playbacks you have already created.
- As in the previous method, select L1/left stick or R1/right stick on your controller to see more options.

How to unblock call playback
- You can unlock the Call Play feature by completing Zion Williamson’s side quest.
- In order to start this side quest, you need to complete Uncle Bobby’s main quest.
- In this side quest, you will be asked to complete 25 Leadership Skills in order to get the coach badge on the court.
- After you complete all the objectives of the side quest, you will unlock the games on call in MyCareer.
