Carl Pei’s Nothing entered the market with new true wireless earbuds earlier this year with the launch of the Nothing Ear 1 TWS worldwide. Since launch, the headphones have only been available in one color, 一 white. A couple of weeks ago, the company announced the release of the Black Edition of the Nothing 1 headphones, and they will go on sale for the first time. Nothing Ear 1 Black Edition Pricing and Availability

Nothing Ear 1 Black is priced at $92 and will be available on Flipkart from 12 noon. Shoppers can get a $7 discount on prepaid transactions with selected debit and credit cards, bringing the price down to $85. In addition, users will also receive a free Gaana plus subscription for 6 months. Flipkart Plus users can also use Flipkart Coins for more discounts.

Characteristics and features

With the launch of the Black Edition, Nothing also announced a move to carbon neutral. The company has worked with globally recognized third parties such as Geneva-based SGS to assess Ear 1’s environmental impact. To neutralize its 1.78 kg carbon footprint, Nothing adopted renewable energy certifications for its manufacturing process and then purchased additional carbon credits from the Verified Carbon Standard to offset the remaining emissions.

Otherwise, the rest of the characteristics remained the same as the original buds. The headphones offer active noise cancellation and transparency mode. In terms of design, the Black edition also features a translucent design that gives us a glimpse of the earbuds and the charger’s internals.
