Nothing launched Ear (1) as its first product in many other international markets. The new truly wireless earbuds have caused a lot of buzz, primarily because of the design. Ear (1) has a translucent design, the ear pieces and the charging case give us a glimpse of the internals. Apart from the design, the TWS also has premium features such as active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency mode, and up to 34 hours of battery life. A few months after the launch, Nothing updated the product by launching a new black color variant. Nothing Ear (1) Black Edition price is $95. TWS will be available for purchase through Flipkart from December 13th. Shoppers in select markets will also be able to shop using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), dollar coins (USDC), and Dogecoin (DOGE).

In addition to this, Nothing has also stated that it is carbon neutral. The company has worked with third parties such as Geneva-headquartered SGS to independently assess and neutralize the first product’s carbon footprint in its ecosystem.

Specifications and features

TWS has features like ANC and transparency mode. It offers two different levels of ANC that can be switched in the Ear app (1). The app also prompts users to switch to transparency mode. Each earbud features 11.6mm drivers that are claimed to deliver balanced bass, mids and highs. The earphones also feature three microphones for external noise cancellation for ANC and during calls.

The earbuds are claimed to deliver 5.7 hours of juice without ANC. With the ANC function, the headphones provide up to 4 hours of juice operation.
