Infinix Inbook X1 Slim Notebook to Go on Sale by June 15th: Expected Specs
Infinix entered the laptop segment last year with the launch of the InBook X1 series of laptops. The X1 series cost $463 for the base model, while the top-of-the-line Core i7 model cost $720. However, these laptops are now available on Flipkart for up to $77.
These laptops have been quite popular on Flipkart with an average rating of 4.2 for the entire InBook X1 series. Now the company is expanding its portfolio with the launch of the Infinix InBook X1 Slim. The brand has confirmed the launch of its second generation laptop to take place in the next few days, and along with the launch schedule, the company has also shared some specs and details about the device.
Infinix InBook X1 Slim coming soon
The company has confirmed that the Infinix InBook X1 Slim will go on sale by June 15th. The upcoming laptop from Infinix is expected to bring some first-in-class features, meaning we can expect some great features as well as an aggressive price tag.
The upcoming InBook X1 Slim will weigh 1.24kg and measure 14.88mm thick, which is significantly better than the InBook X1 (1.48kg and 16.3mm). The company says it will be the lightest and thinnest laptop in its price segment. Also, in terms of build, the X1 Slim will come with an all-metal body and will be available in four color options: red, green, blue, and grey. The laptop is also confirmed to be equipped with a large capacity battery and a Type-C port.
These specs and features are the same as the Infinix INBook X2, which launched globally back in January. Also, it looks like the Infinix InBook X1 Slim will be a rebrand of the Infinix INBook X2 for the market, unless the company decides to bring some changes to the market.
Infinix InBook X2 Specifications
The InBook X2 comes in three flavors: Intel Core i3-1005G1, Core i5-1035G1, and Core i7-1065G7. The laptop comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD, Intel Iris Plus graphics, and ICE STORM 1.0 cooling. Inside, the machine is equipped with a 50 Wh lithium polymer battery, which is designed to work up to 11 hours without recharging. The laptop also supports 45W Type-C fast charging. The laptop features a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300 nits brightness, 100% sRGB coverage and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Also, in terms of port options, you get one USB Type-C port for data sharing, charging and display, another Type-C port for data transfer, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4, an SD card slot, and 3.5. headphone jack mm. In terms of pricing, the InBook X2 starts at $399 for the Core i3 variant, $549 for the Core i5 model, and the top-of-the-line Core i7 model is $649.
