Created by showrunner Alexy Hawley for streaming platform Netflix, The Recruit follows Owen Hendrix (Noah Centineo), a young CIA lawyer who becomes embroiled in dangerous international power politics when a former employee threatens to reveal the nature of her longtime relationship. with the agency unless she’s exonerated for a serious crime.
