Casetify’s new iPhone 14 cases withstand the biggest drops ever

Casetify’s newly released protective cases for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro from Apple use proprietary material and other tricks to keep your phone in perfect condition.

Casetify cases for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are here

As soon as Apple’s “Far Out”event ended on September 7th, tech accessories brand Casetify released protective cases for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The so-called Bounce case provides maximum protection for your Apple smartphone and is able to withstand a fall from a great height. At the same time, Casetify has upgraded its existing Impact and Ultra Impact series with new technologies to give them greater protection.

Casetify Introduces Bounce iPhone 14 Case

This is the new Casetify case designed specifically for the latest iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro devices. It provides drop protection from a height of 21.3 feet or 6.5 meters.

This is well above the waist, which is the most common height for accidental iPhone drops. From a practical standpoint, the Bounce Case is 6 times more than military grade.

It has withstood over 156 drops from any angle thanks to Casetify’s patented plant-based material, dubbed EcoShock. This converts the kinetic energy of the impact into heat, which is then dissipated across the surface of the body through a swirling pattern. Compression ribs in each corner of the case have three air cavities. For example, when your iPhone falls on a concrete or even steel floor, these compression ribs compress and rebound to distribute the force of the impact and protect the phone from structural damage.

This is the key to protecting a phone: the worst impacts, which cause the display to crack and peel off the case, happen when the phone is dropped on a corner.

The back of the Bounce Case features a protective ring around the camera to help protect the sapphire-coated lens from scratches. The raised bezel protects the display from edge damage. The Bounce case is lightweight so you don’t have to take it off to charge your phone via MagSafe or any Qi wireless charger.

Impact Case and Ultra Impact Case received new materials

Existing Impact and Ultra Impact cases now offer twenty percent more protection thanks to new materials, bumper design and EcoShock technology.

Both have a raised camera ring on the back and a raised bezel on the front to protect the screen and lens from physical damage. They are also compatible with the Qi wireless charging protocol and come in MagSafe and non-MagSafe options.

The difference between the two lies in the level of protection they offer, with the Shockproof Case protecting against drops up to 11.5 feet (3.5 meters), while the Ultra Case can withstand drops up to 8.2 feet or 2.5 meters.

The impact case withstands 104 consecutive drops from all directions, which is 4 times the military standard. The Ultra withstands 130 consecutive drops from all directions, 5 times the military grade requirement.
