Disney brought John Williams back to the Star Wars universe to compose the music for the television series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Renowned American composer John Williams recently recorded several musical compositions with an orchestra from Los Angeles under close supervision for the television series Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will air on the Disney+ streaming platform from May 25. At this point, it’s unknown if he took on the iconic Force theme associated with the character played by Ewan McGregor, or perhaps a theme from the prequels, or even wrote an entirely new song.

Inseparable from the Star Wars franchise, it’s still in high demand despite being 90 years old. His remarkable work will also be featured in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabermans (out November), the fifth Indiana Jones movie (out next year), the Vienna Philharmonic (March 12 and 13), the Philadelphia Orchestra in April. 19 & 21), the Pittsburgh Symphony (April 25) or the Los Angeles Philharmonic from September 2 to 4, 2022 at the Hollywood Bowl.
