OnePlus 9RT update brings February Android security patch and bug fixes

A couple of months ago, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT phone in the country. As of now, the OnePlus 9RT is running OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. As a new development, the company has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 9RT. OnePlus has reached out to the OnePlus community to make an official announcement about this.

The OnePlus 9RT update comes with firmware version MT2111_11_A.05 and weighs in at around 179MB. The update brings the latest February 2022 Android security patch to the phone. Let’s take a closer look at what the update has in store for OnePlus 9RT users.

The latest OnePlus 9RT update brings a lot of optimizations and bug fixes, as well as the latest Android security patch. The update contains system, camera and gallery optimizations, as well as bug fixes.

The company has optimized video quality for 60fps videos recorded through an ultra wide-angle lens. It also fixed the distortion and blur issue that users were experiencing with the 50MP mode. Take a look at the official changelog below,

OnePlus has confirmed that the update is being rolled out in stages for now, so it may or may not be available on your device. For those who don’t know, in a phased rollout, the update is first run on a subset of users to minimize the impact of critical bugs. Judging by user feedback, a wider rollout will begin in a few days. We can expect the update to be widely rolled out in the coming days.
