OnePlus Nord update with OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 is rolling out now

Following the release of the November Android Security Update for multiple devices, OnePlus has begun rolling out the update to the OG OnePlus Nord. The new OnePlus Nord update is rolling out in India, Europe as well as North America. The update is based on Android 11 and comes with OxygenOS firmware version 11.1.7.7. The OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 update includes the November 2021 Android security patch and improves system stability. According to a community forum post, the update is rolling out with firmware version 11.1.7.7.AC01DA to OnePlus Nord users in India. While the update contains firmware version 11.1.7.7.AC01BA and 11.1.7.7.AC01BA for Europe and North America respectively.

OnePlus has confirmed that OTA is being rolled out gradually. This means that OTA will be available to a small percentage of users, with wider rollout starting in a few days. The company advises users to secure at least 3GB of free storage and 30% battery before installing the update. To check for updates, users can go to the Settings -> About Device -> System Update page.

OnePlus Nord may receive the OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12. However, the company has not given a specific timeline for this yet.
