Realme has announced the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program for Realme 8 Pro users. Through this program, the company is looking for users who are ready to test the latest version of Android 12 on their Realme 8 Pro devices and give them valuable feedback that will help the brand push the stable version to more users soon. A couple of days ago, Realme opened Realme UI 3.0 Early Access for Realme GT Neo 2 users. If you are a Realme 8 Pro user and want to try out the latest version of Android on your phone, here is how you can apply for the same.
Realme 8 Pro Realme UI 3.0 Early Access
Applications for the early access program will begin on December 17, and Realme says that places are limited and users will be accepted in batches. Here is how you can apply and try out Android 12 / Realme UI 3.0 on Realme 8 Pro device:
- Charge your phone and make sure the battery is 60%+ charged.
- Make sure your device is running the latest stable version of Realme UI – RMX3081_11.C.09.
- Go to Settings → Software update.
- Click on the settings icon in the top right corner.
- Click on Trial → Apply Now → Submit your details and complete the quiz.
After you submit the applications, you will be able to receive the update. However, since the number of available slots is limited, not all candidates will receive the Realme UI 3.0 update.
Since this is an Android trial, there is always a risk, and Realme has confirmed that some apps may not be well optimized for Android 12 and may crash, and early access versions may affect your phone unpredictably and affect your daily use. If you want to retire Realme UI 3.0 and revert to Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, you can rollback. However, this process will delete all your personal data.
