The TrollStore update with bug fixes brings the permanent signature utility to version 1.1.1.

We’ve been talking a lot about TrollStore lately, and for good reason. In the absence of a jailbreak for iOS and iPadOS 15, this is the closest we have. That’s because it allows users to permanently sign apps on their iPhones and iPads with elevated privileges that come very close to what jailbreak tweaks can do – see Cardio, Filza, Legizmo Kincaid, and Mugunghwa for a few different examples.

On Thursday, TrollStore received another update from the developer Opa334, officially updating the utility to version 1.1.1. Although the update is indeed minor, it is recommended for all users and brings the following changes:

  • Solving some connection problems in TrollHelper and TrollStore on Chinese devices.
  • Fixed an issue where an app could not be uninstalled if it did not have an Info.plist file.

Existing users can get the updated one. ipa from the developer’s GitHub page, or use the handy OTA update link on the TrollStore settings page:

If you are a potential user who is thinking about giving TrollStore a try, you can download. ipa from the developer page on GitHub. We have written detailed guides demonstrating how to install TrollStore on iOS and iPadOS 14 and 15 devices, links to which are provided below for your convenience:

  • How to install TrollStore on iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 devices without hacking
  • How to Install TrollStore on Jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 14.0-14.8.1 Devices

TrollStore officially supports iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.1.1 devices, but it’s worth noting that it can also be installed using the ramdisk method on some devices running iOS and iPadOS 15.4.1 beta 4.

By signing applications with TrollStore, you won’t need to re-sign them, as is usually the case with utilities such as AltStore and/or Sideloady. Additional benefits of TrollStore are that everything can be handled on the device itself without a computer, and installed applications are granted elevated privileges due to the exploit being used.
