Valorant Update 4.08: Fade Goes Live, Jett, Neon, Sova Get Updates, More

Update 4.08 for Valorant introduces players to one of the most feared agents in the game – Fade. The main abilities of Fade, the initiator, are focused on obstructing the movement of enemies, tracking them and hunting them with nightmarish efficiency.

The patch also includes an infamous nerf to Jett, an agent that the Valorant community believes has become too powerful in recent months. Jett’s Tailwind ability now has a 12-second window during which she can dash the next time she presses a key.

Neon also gets a pretty significant buff, as her battery energy after killing an enemy has been increased from 25% to 100%. In addition, her slide cannot be used during the equip delay, and her speed limit has been removed. Neon can now slide sideways and forward, and her energy cost has been increased from 6.7 to 10/s.
